Voltage Regulator, Bosch

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque screwdriver (V.A.G 1624)


Follow the procedure in the Repair Information when disconnecting and connecting the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

• Check the generator.

Removal

- Remove generator.

- Remove mounting bolt and nuts - arrows - (4.5 Nm) and remove the cap from generator.






- Remove mounting bolts of voltage regulator - arrows - (2 Nm).






- Take voltage regulator out of generator.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

- Tighten all the threaded connections to the tightening specification.
