Fuel Filter Flange Overview

• The coupling must audibly engage when locking.

• Note the color coding when installing the coupling. Refer to => [ Coupling Allocation: ] Coupling, Disconnecting!

• Pull on the coupling to make sure it is secure.

• Disconnect the couplings. Refer to => [ Coupling, Disconnecting ] Coupling, Disconnecting.

Fuel Filter Flange, Version A





1 Bolt - 8 Nm
2 (Installation not necessary) water extraction bolt (remove and allow approximately 100 cm 3 of fluid to drain using the suction pump (VAS 5226) , replace the seal).
3 Fuel tank supply line, white or with a white mark. Make sure it is tight.
4 Fuel tank return line, blue or with a blue mark. Make sure it is tight.
5 Engine supply line, white or with a white mark. Make sure it is tight.
6 Engine return line, blue or with a blue mark. Make sure it is tight.

1 Bolt - 5 Nm
2 Fuel tank return line, blue or with a blue mark. Make sure it is tight.
3 Fuel tank supply line, white or with a white mark. Make sure it is tight.
4 Engine return line, blue or with a blue mark. Make sure it is tight.
5 Engine supply line, white or with a white mark. Make sure it is tight.
